The BCN hotel is located on Roger de Lluria Street in Barcelona, just in front of the Ritz hotel and the Palace hotel. From Dsignio we wanted to get some distance from such a classic neighborhood by betting on a groundbreaking design.
The building has not any relevant architecture. So the interior design had to be impressive to achieve an adequate global result. For this reason, in the common areas the red, white and black colors are combined with the geometric shapes inside so as to give them greater visual power.
Once we advance to the private part of the hotel we find the access corridors to the rooms. We have looked for a mysterious and silent design, where the white doors that float inside the darkness stand out.
Due to its location, it is a hotel focused on business clients; therefore it has numerous rooms prepared for business meetings and presentations.
They are also rooms with different spaces: secondary bedrooms or work areas. We have taken special care about the lighting, to take full advantage of natural light and play with artificial light to create relaxing effects.
The hotel has several interior gardens that function as skylights providing warmth and natural light to the internal spaces of the building.
