La Ebanisteria Office. Design by Dsignio

La Ebanistería is a company that has been manufacturing furniture since 1968. They commissioned us to design their new offices within their factory in Talavera de la Reina. They have 850 square meters of free floor to locate both the offices and the showroom.

We conceived the entrance to the offices on the lower floor as a museum. It is a space in which the visitor advances through an environment with dramatic lighting surrounded by real tree trunks. Among the trunks you can see the old carpentry machines and tools that were initially used.

A grand staircase flanked by large logs ascends from the museum space to the new offices. Wood, its raw material, is the link between the origin of the company and the current situation.

Inside the offices there is a large table that simulates a tree in a sinuous way where the technical team works. This table allows the interrelation between workers, flexibility and their well-being. We wanted to give the feeling of working sitting under a tree.

The work space is surrounded by various offices and a large meeting room. The furniture in the room, designed to measure, allows it to be configured as a boardroom table or as a training room depending on how the tables are placed.
